The University Innovation Alliance is the leading national coalition of public research universities committed to increasing the number of college graduates in the United States. The University of California, Riverside, is one of 11 founding members of the UIA, which launched in 2014. Currently, there are 19 member institutions spread across the United States.
In 2014, President Obama shared the UIA’s ambitious goal to graduate 68,000 students by 2025 at the College Opportunity Summit. According to the 2025 Annual Report, the UIA has fulfilled this goal by producing 183,500 additional graduates beyond projected baselines.
